## How we test trading bots before ranking them

**Most bot reviews are rewritten feature pages. Ours start with a funded wallet and a trade that either fills or fails.**

1. **A dedicated test wallet.** It holds nothing else, so every fill, fee and failure belongs to the bot.
2. **Real money, real positions.** Every bot trades our own funds, so fees, slippage and failed fills hit us before we rank anything.
3. **Weeks, not hours.** A bot can look clean on trade one and break on trade ten, so we keep trading through changing markets before we rate it.
4. **Checked on-chain.** What the bot reported against what the block explorer recorded. Any gap goes into the review.

The full seven-step method is on [How we test the bots](https://telegramtrading.net/how-we-test-the-bots/).
