ArbitrageScanner vs P2P.Army

Both are arbitrage signal tools, not execution bots: neither connects to your exchange accounts, so you place trades yourself. ArbitrageScanner covers 80+ centralized and 25+ decentralized exchanges from $99 a month; P2P.Army has a useful free tier and is unusually direct about risk.

Arbitrage scanners, not execution bots

Crypto arbitrage means capturing a price difference for the same asset at the same moment, and both tools here find those gaps without ever trading for you: no API keys, no account access, execution stays manual. That's a deliberate security choice by both teams.

The edge has moved beyond bots scraping millisecond CEX spreads. Three kinds of arbitrage drive this comparison:

  • CEX/CEX: buy on one exchange, sell where it's higher. Bots close gaps on liquid pairs in seconds; the opportunity is in coins where the spread lasts long enough for a human.
  • DEX/CEX: buy on-chain, sell on a CEX. BNB Chain (BSC) is the usual starting chain: a full cycle takes 10 to 20 minutes with gas under $1. Ethereum isn't for beginners; a failed transaction can cost $50 to $100.
  • Funding rate: long spot on one exchange, short futures on another. Price moves cancel out, and you collect the funding paid every 8 hours, often 0.10 to 0.45% a day. Both platforms put this strategy first.

Here is how we test these tools.

ArbitrageScanner vs P2P.Army: features and pricing

ArbitrageScanner is the broader ecosystem with a higher entry price; P2P.Army is leaner, starts free and documents its strategies in more detail.

ArbitrageScanner: products, tiers and a perpetuals example

ArbitrageScanner.io launched in 2023, is registered as ArbitrageScan Developers LTD in the UAE, and runs seven products through a Telegram bot and a web dashboard. It reports processing over 1,000 spreads per second; nothing to install, no API keys, no access to your funds.

ArbitrageScanner dashboard with arbitrage signals and spreads
ArbitrageScanner's dashboard: spreads across 80+ CEX and DEX venues.
  • Arbitrage Screener: spreads across 15+ CEX with network status, withdrawal fees and transfer routes; signals every 4 seconds.
  • Arbitrage Perpetuals: spot/futures and futures/futures gaps with live funding rates on 15+ exchanges, the flagship.
  • Custom Scanner Bot: a personal Telegram bot set up by a manager, 20+ blockchains, 15 to 70 scanner instances by plan.
  • DEX Scanner: 200+ DEXes on 180 chains, DEX-to-CEX and DEX-to-DEX in real time (Platinum).
  • Blockchain address analysis: PNL, win rate and coin-by-coin history for any wallet on 5 chains, with bot and wash-trade filtering.
  • AI similar wallets: finds new wallets matching a known set across 272 criteria, to follow insiders who rotate addresses.
  • ArbitrageBot Message: watches thousands of Telegram channels, chats and Reddit threads for keywords such as listings.
  • Funding Rates tracker and Spreads Calculator: free, permanently.

The perpetuals example the platform publishes: buy spot at $1.8452, short futures at $2.0324, collect 0.15% funding every 8 hours (0.45% a day) while the gap closes over two to three weeks.

Result: about 10% from the spread plus about 6% from funding, 16% in total. That only works if the gap converges and funding stays positive, and it needs the Business plan at $195 a month.

The wallet tools stand out: search ETH buyers by date range, profit and ROI to surface possible insider wallets, then subscribe and get a Telegram push when they trade.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • Seven products in one subscription
  • Wallet analysis with AI matching across 272 criteria
  • Personal manager from the Business plan
  • Funding Rates and Spreads Calculator free

Limits

  • Perpetuals starts at $195 a month
  • DEX Scanner needs Platinum at $397 a month

Is ArbitrageScanner legit?

Yes: it is a registered UAE company running a read-only information tool that never touches your exchange accounts or funds, and reviews on CoinCodex, BitDegree and the MEXC Blog describe it as a genuine signal platform.

The Perpetuals screener: where to buy spot, where to short, and the live funding rate per pair.

The usual scam pattern, a tool that asks for API keys or deposits, doesn't apply: there's nothing to connect. Your risk is the subscription fee and your own execution. The platform's published case studies show 15 to 25% per round on Perpetuals from active traders who moved fast; read them as best cases, not as an expected return.

The Perpetuals tutorial explains the mechanics, and updates come through @ArbitrageScan on X and the English Telegram channel.

P2P.Army: free tier and risk guidance

P2P.Army launched in 2022 as a P2P price analytics platform and grew into CEX, DEX/CEX and funding rate arbitrage; much of it is free for good, with one premium tier for the signal tools. Where ArbitrageScanner leads on breadth, P2P.Army leads on documentation: it spells out the practical details of each strategy.

P2P.Army strategy menu: CEX, DEX/CEX and funding rate arbitrage
P2P.Army's strategy menu: CEX/CEX, DEX/CEX and funding rate in one place.
  • P2P analytics (free): 100+ fiat currencies, live prices, spreads and order books from Binance, Bybit, OKX, HTX, Bitget, MEXC, Gate, BingX and KuCoin.
  • CEX/CEX scanner: four modes, from one market to four exchanges with transfers, across 50+ exchanges and 3,000+ assets.
  • CEX signals in Telegram: 20+ markets, filters on profit, spread and book volume; fires only when the transfer network is active on both sides.
  • DEX/CEX: ETH, BSC, Polygon and Arbitrum, 5,000+ pools, with automatic checks for honeypots and hidden fees before a signal fires.
  • Funding rate: 17 futures exchanges, alerts 15 to 30 minutes before each 8-hour settlement plus spread-close and price-move alerts.
  • Free tools: arbitrage and compound calculators, fiat converter, and P2P escrow releasing funds in under a minute.

Its funding rate guide is detailed: at 1x leverage a short is liquidated only if the asset rises 100%, the safest starting setup. Its example, a funding spread of +0.4811% per 8-hour interval, works out to 10.1% in 7 days at 1x, shown with historical charts and leverage tables.

The DEX/CEX guide is just as direct: Ethereum is flagged as hostile to beginners because $50 to $100 of gas per mistake erases small profits, and BSC is the recommended start. ArbitrageScanner doesn't document an equivalent of the automatic honeypot and hidden-fee checks.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • Generous free tier: P2P analytics, calculators, bank rates
  • Clear guidance on leverage, gas and sizing for beginners
  • Honeypot and hidden-fee checks on every DEX signal
  • 17 futures exchanges for funding arbitrage

Limits

  • DEX coverage on 4 chains, against ArbitrageScanner's 20+ (180 on Platinum)
  • No wallet analysis, AI tools or Telegram keyword monitoring

Crypto arbitrage strategies with costs attached

Both tools deliver signals; the return depends on matching the strategy to conditions and counting every cost, from subscription to gas.

  • 🔥 Funding plus spot (ArbitrageScanner): filter Perpetuals for 0.10%+ funding per 8 hours, buy spot where it's cheaper, short the same size where funding is positive, collect 0.30%+ a day. Close both legs when the funding spread falls below 0.01%; held 1 to 4 weeks this can return 10 to 20% on capital, before fees and the $195 plan.
  • 📡 Volatility spikes (ArbitrageScanner): run the Screener on macro or high-volatility days. When a coin jumps 10%+, gaps between major and minor CEXes can reach 5 to 15%; confirm deposit and withdrawal status before moving, because these windows close within the hour.
  • 🔍 Smart money subscriptions (ArbitrageScanner): filter wallets by ROI, win rate and PNL over a date range, subscribe to the strongest, and follow confirmed positions only on coins with good CEX liquidity.
  • 🌐 BSC DEX/CEX route (P2P.Army): BSC signals only, $200 to $1,000 per trade, cycles of 10 to 20 minutes for well under $1 in fees. Aim for $1 to $3 per trade while learning, and move to Ethereum only once execution is consistent.
  • 💰 Funding delta alerts (P2P.Army): alerts 15 to 30 minutes before settlement; when the spread between two exchanges passes 0.30% per interval, open opposite positions at 1x, set a 15% price alert to rebalance, and close below 0.05%.
  • 🗺️ P2P fiat arbitrage (P2P.Army, free): use the International P2P Valuation tool with our trading fees calculator to find countries where stablecoins trade at a premium, then check fiat transfer feasibility. It suits traders with bank accounts in several countries.

Funding arbitrage neutralises price, not exchange risk: if an exchange freezes withdrawals or fails, one leg is stuck. Funding can also turn negative. Keep both legs on established exchanges, use 1x, and keep no more than 20 to 30% of capital in a single trade, as P2P.Army advises.

ArbitrageScanner or P2P.Army: which to use

Pick on budget and strategy: ArbitrageScanner for the Perpetuals product, wallet tracking and wide DEX coverage; P2P.Army to start free and learn the mechanics with less money at risk.

  • ArbitrageScanner if you want spot/futures plus funding, on-chain alpha from wallet tracking and AI matching, a personal manager, and DEX arbitrage on 20+ chains. The $195 Business plan is the real entry for Perpetuals; the $99 Start plan is a cheaper way to explore.
  • P2P.Army if you want to start free, trade P2P across countries and currencies, or learn funding mechanics before risking capital. The built-in honeypot and hidden-fee checks help when you begin DEX execution. Its premium price is on the tariffs page.
  • Both if you run arbitrage seriously: P2P.Army's free P2P and funding tools complement ArbitrageScanner's paid features with little overlap.

Signals are opportunities, not guarantees. Execution speed, transfer fees, subscription cost and position size decide the real return, so add the plan price to your break-even before you size up. Arbitrage is legal in most countries, including the US, EU and UK; check local rules if you're elsewhere.
